Puma is a German manufacturer of sports shoes and clothing, founded in 1948 as Puma Schuhfabrik Rudolf Dassler by Rudolf Dassler. The relationship between the two brothers deteriorated and in 1948 they both agreed to split (they formed two companies: adidas and PUMA).
